How do I get to TAASA Lodge or TAASA Migration Camp?

Getting to TAASA Lodge or TAASA Migration Camp is straightforward, and our experienced team is always here to help with travel planning. The most common route is a domestic flight from Arusha (ARK) or Kilimanjaro (JRO) to the airstrip closest to our properties. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed by the TAASA team and transferred directly to the lodge or camp for the start of your unforgettable safari experience.

When Is the Best Time to Visit Tanzania?

TAASA offers unique experiences throughout the year. In Northern Tanzania, the dry season from June to October provides excellent opportunities for game viewing as animals congregate near rivers and water holes. On the other hand, the green season from November to May is characterized by lush, verdant landscapes that are breathtaking to behold. Regardless of the season, you can expect to witness abundant wildlife at TAASA.

Although we cannot make guarantees, guests may encounter a wide range of animals, including lions, elephants, leopards, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, and numerous bird species. The knowledge and expertise of TAASA’s guides and trackers will maximize your chances of spotting these incredible creatures.

Is Wi-Fi Available?

TAASA Lodge and TAASA Migration Camp are the perfect places to unplug from day-to-day life. However, we do offer complimentary Wi-Fi access throughout the properties. Please bear with us if the internet connection is slower than what you are used to, as we are situated in a very remote location.
