It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of our dear friend and long-time colleague, Leyan Pirianoy Nadalasho. For 12 impactful years, Leyan was an integral part of the TAASA family. His warmth, dedication, and unwavering spirit helped shape our organization in countless ways.

Beyond TAASA, Leyan was a devoted son, husband, father, and friend. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and integrity that will be felt for generations.

In the wake of this profound loss, many of our past guests and partners have reached out to ask how they can support Leyan’s family. This outpouring of compassion has been deeply humbling and a true reflection of the bonds within our TAASA community.

One extraordinary family has stepped forward with a powerful gesture by pledging to sponsor all seven of Leyan’s children through the remainder of their academic journeys. With ages ranging from 15 years to just under 1 year old, this incredible act of kindness offers immeasurable support to Leyan’s wife and will forever change the course of their children’s lives.

In honor of Leyan’s enduring legacy, we have created the TAASA Sponsored Scholarship Program in Memory of Leyan Pirianoy Nadalasho. This annual scholarship will support two Tanzanian students – one male and one female – pursuing university studies in Hospitality – a field Leyan was deeply passionate about.
